Shoulder

Shoulder

The shoulder muscles, especially the deltoid and rotator muscles, provide strength and movement to the joint. The shoulder is the anatomical region that connects the trunk with the arm and is formed by three bones that are the scapula or scapula, the clavicle and the humerus.
Traumatic shoulder injuries can be three types depending on the energy of the traumatic agent. Injuries are injuries caused by a low energy trauma in which there is a superficial involvement of the skin and / or muscle. The fractures are the injuries produced by a trauma of greater energy that causes the breakage of the bone. Finally, the dislocations are the injuries produced by a mechanism of very high energy that results in the separation between two bones that formed a joint.

Back to Sport (B2S) is a personalized injury recovery program for post-operated patients, similar to those athletes follow. Under medical supervision and personal trainers, B2S adapts to the individual capacity of each patient, seeking maximum results. It is performed in a gymnasium, a healthy and active environment, which boosts recovery. Patients first undergo a medical checkup that determines the exercise plan with its frequency, duration, and intensity. The program helps resuming to habitual sports practice after recovering from an injury, as well as eliminates discomforts related to the practice of a sport (contractures and tendinitis,).
